Our challenge was to provide an identity that reflects the school’s history, celebration of all faiths, and modern teaching methods.
The Creative Solution:
Holy Child Academy refers to itself as comprising of three schools – Nursery-PreK, K-3rd, and 4th-8th. Our strategy was to visually embrace this internal vernacular, assigning each school with a bold, prominent color. Through color exploration, our recommendation was to update the original logo from forest green to a bright lime. For parents with children in different schools, the color assignment helps cut through the visual clutter in home communications. When HCA refers to itself as a whole entity, all three colors are shown with the lime green being the most prominent.
Holy Child Academy (HCA) is an independent school for Nursery-Grade 8 in Delaware County that believes in a holistic approach to student learning.
