New Years Design Commitments

Research shows that most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions on January 19.  So, instead of making New Year’s resolutions, we are making New Year’s commitments! After all, we work in advertising and design and we think commitments are a better statement than resolutions anyway.

Karen’s commitment is to spend more time learning about video and playing with adobe mobile apps for social media. “I figure these are just another way to be creative and it will be fun to learn new tools”.

Brianna’s commitment is to spend an hour a week to learn something new about an adobe program. Adobe is always updating Creative Suite and frequently there are new tools and shortcuts to make projects easier. An hour a week is an achievable time goal which will be easy to develop into a habit.

Meredith’s commitment is to spend more time learning about new social media – namely TikTok and Instagram Reels, and how they can help further Fiore Design’s social media reach. “It seems every other day there is a new social media platform to explore and I think it will be a fun challenge to learn how making fun, short, informational videos about what we do can help us attract new clients”

Emily is going to schedule more time into the week to learn more about Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator is an important tool in our creative toolbox, especially when creating logos, signage and vector-based illustrations.
